Moved the board

All of us over at the original Threads board have gotten really tired of the shenanigans that kept happening over there, so we decided to move it. The next thing was to figure out where to move it. I talked with Dave, and he thought that we should have plenty of room on our server. Then the thing was to choose which software to run. Gads. I'd no idea there were so many. Dave's big into the free software world, and we already run php and mySQL on the server, so that was a natural. I stumbled across the phpBB software, and Dave said that it had a really good rep, and that tons of boards run it. I had a winner. Dave installed it for me, and I got going on configurations. Then I got Mary-Anne, my admin over on the old board, to come over and help. That's when things really got going. A day later we started inviting the existing moderators over to the new board, and things gelled. We decided to go live for our weekly Friday party. Things are hopping now.
