Exer what?

I had my six week checkup with my doctor last week, the day after Dave and I got home. In spite of everything that's been happening, she is very pleased with my healing progress. And wants me to start exercising. Exer-who? Yes. Ugly word that. I'm now to walk for thirty minutes each day, a good, brisk, aerobic walk, five days per week. I am also to start doing isometric exercises for my abs. Then, in a couple weeks, I'm supposed to start doing crunches and leg lifts to get my abs back in shape. Egads.

Well, Dave and I have started the walking. We're going out weekday mornings, about as soon as I get out of bed. Sh. Don't tell anyone. I kind of like starting the day that way. Gets the blood pumping, don't you know. And I do definitely want my abs to get stronger again. This would be a good thing. Strong abs help keep lower back pain at bay, which is definitely a good thing. I need a workout buddy for this stuff. I'm normally quite horrid about exercising. Gads. Guess I'll have to get better about it, won't I?
