My father passed away yesterday morning, Monday, June 5, 2006. His breathing slowed until it simply stopped. His end was peaceful and pain free. My mom was with him. My plane was just landing, so I missed him. But, I did get to the hospital, and was able to say goodbye to him. There will be a memorial service for him at Mom's next door neighbor's house this Saturday afternoon. I'll be home again next week.
*hugs* honey, I am sorry to hear about your dad, but glad you got to say goodbye to him.

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I tried to call you the other day, but it's now obvious that you had already left.
If he knew he was loved by you, and you knew he loved you, then saying good bye wasn't really necessary.
He saw you married, saw you happy, saw you living life on your terms.
When you're home lets get together and have a toast to treasured memories. (with tea, of course!)
Love you both
Mikki
